First day back!

On a new plan that is going to push my training to 6 out of 7 days and is concentrating more on running since that's a weak area of mine that I could make up alot of time in. I'm actually wanting to run in a half marathon maybe early next year. 13.1 miles. I can do it, take me forever, but that's ok!

sauna - 10 min
wu - 3 min
stretched (10min)
swim - 24 minutes
cd - 4 minutes
Strecthed (10min)
sauna - 15min

I ate like crap today. Waiting on nutritionist to call me back :(

Here it is

Oct 22nd 2007 is my official re-start of training date. Volume training again with strength training mixed in. For next year I want to enter in atleast 4-5 Olympic Distance triathlons. The wild ride starts next week!

Starting...... again

Since i'm not entirely too sure what to do at this moment as far as training goes -- I'm going to use a 3x/week schedule like I did for the Olympic training. Obviously now, I'll be doing each discipline 3 times a week instead of just 2. I'm hoping this breaks the workouts down into short allotments. I rather do the bike 3x/week @ 60min then having 2 long ass workouts. I figure I'll give it 2-3 weeks to see how it feels with my schedule.

I'm having an appointment with a trainer to work on strength training. Again, it's not a triathlon coach, but that's ok for right now. I'm by no means ready to tackle a Half or Full IM, so I"m not worried about it yet. I just need more muscle.

Escape To Miami results

You can view the results here:

All that training was for this?

Am I complaining? HELL NO! All that training made it worse! I ended up finishing the Escape To Miami Olympic distance about 2 weeks ago and it was the most awesome thing I've ever done. In fact, when I finished, I was ready to sign up for another one.

I'll be posting about my race experience race soon.
